Among the notable visitors was Egypt’s Minister of Culture, H.E. As part of its commitment to staying ahead of the curve, TRENDS also hosted a major symposium titled “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development: Future Insights and Perspectives.” This symposium, organized in collaboration with the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) of the Egyptian Cabinet and Bibliotheca Alexandrina, aimed to explore the role of AI in achieving sustainable development goals, and it attracted experts, policymakers, and thought leaders in the field. In addition to showcasing its research works, TRENDS honored international leaders such as H.E. Olivia Toderean, Romania’s Ambassador to Cairo, and Diana Ștefana Baciuna, Secretary of State at Romania’s Ministry of Culture, with the TRENDS Research Medal. This recognition underscored TRENDS’ commitment to fostering knowledge dissemination and strengthening partnerships in the global research community.
