The future of flight just got a first-class upgrade — and it’s landing in the UAE. Archer Aviation, the pioneering U.S.-based developer of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has teamed up with Dubai-headquartered Jetex, one of the world’s top luxury private aviation service providers, to roll out the infrastructure for a global electric air taxi network. Buckle up — the skies are about to get a whole lot smarter, quieter, and greener.
The partnership takes off in the UAE, where Jetex operates world-class private terminals, but plans are already on the runway to scale across Jetex’s impressive network of 40 terminals in over 30 countries. Their mission? To build a seamless premium passenger experience for Archer’s sleek Midnight eVTOL aircraft — think less Uber and more James Bond, but electric.
Jetex will provide the infrastructure, passenger flow design, and charging solutions, while Archer focuses on integrating their aircraft into real-world, high-traffic urban environments. With ultra-quiet takeoffs, zero-emission operation, and a futuristic design, Archer’s eVTOLs promise to change the way we view short-haul travel — replacing congested roadways with smooth, vertical ascents.
According to Adel Mardini, Jetex’s visionary CEO, “eVTOL is no longer sci-fi — it’s next-gen mobility that we’re thrilled to help bring to life.” Meanwhile, Archer CEO Adam Goldstein emphasized that delivering luxury aviation isn’t just about the tech — it’s about matching innovation with premium experiences that customers expect in a Jetex lounge, whether in Abu Dhabi or Los Angeles.
This partnership comes as Archer ramps up operations in the UAE, already securing design approval for the country’s first hybrid heliport and collaborating with Abu Dhabi Aviation to push urban air mobility forward.
The Jetex–Archer collaboration marks a sky-high milestone in global transportation, where flying taxis are no longer fantasy — they’re the next destination.
