PM Modi lays foundation stone of AIIMS, Gurugram Metro Rail in Haryana’s Rewari

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several development projects in Haryana’s Rewari, totaling over Rs 9,750 crore. Among these initiatives, the Gurugram Metro Rail project stands out, with an estimated cost of Rs 5,450 crore. This project, spanning 28.5 km, aims to enhance urban transport connectivity, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision for world-class mass rapid transit systems.

Additionally, the foundation stone for All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari, was laid, marking a significant stride in bolstering public health infrastructure. With an investment of approximately Rs 1,650 crore, AIIMS Rewari will offer comprehensive healthcare services, including specialized treatments and tertiary care facilities. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring quality healthcare access to the people of Haryana.

Furthermore, the inauguration of the Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar in Kurukshetra adds cultural and spiritual significance to the region. Costing around Rs 240 crore, this experiential museum showcases the epic narrative of the Mahabharata and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, utilizing advanced technologies to enrich visitors’ experiences. Situated at the sacred site where Lord Krishna delivered the Gita’s teachings, this museum serves as a cultural beacon, preserving and promoting India’s rich heritage.

Moreover, the Prime Minister unveiled multiple railway projects aimed at bolstering connectivity and infrastructure in the region. These projects include the doubling of several railway lines and the inauguration of the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line, which will significantly reduce travel time between Rohtak and Hisar. These endeavors align with the government’s focus on enhancing transportation networks to facilitate economic growth and improve accessibility for citizens.
