He stressed that the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s vision is to nurture young talent, expand the sport’s reach, and develop future champions who will dominate the global stage. “We’ve been sharpening their technical and tactical abilities, ensuring they are mentally and physically prepared to take on the best in Asia,” he said.

Meanwhile, youth team coach Pedro Damasceno highlighted the meticulous selection process that led to a powerhouse squad being chosen for this event. Each athlete underwent intense training programs focusing on individual combat strategies, adaptability, and team synergy. He stated, “These young warriors have been battle-tested in training. Now, it’s time to prove their worth on the mat.”

With fitness, discipline, and combat intelligence at their peak, the UAE team enters the championship with high ambitions. They are determined to maintain their stronghold in Asian jiu-jitsu, facing off against the best young fighters from across the continent.
