UAE police arrest driver for performing stunts in front of patrol vehicle

In a part of Ras Al Khaimah, a man of 20 years old was arrested and his vehicle confiscated after engaging in reckless behavior that involved making excessive noise and performing dangerous stunts in the presence of a police patrol. This incident, which clearly showed a disregard, for the law has raised concerns among law enforcement officials.

The arrest was prompted by a video that went viral on media showing a four wheel drive vehicle performing stunts in front of a police patrol. Colonel Dr. Mohamed Al Bahar, the Director of the Traffic and Patrol Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police expressed concern over this behavior describing it as a violation of both law enforcement officers and established traffic regulations.

Taking action the traffic department formed a search and investigation team under the guidance of General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Naeimi, who’s the Commander in Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police. This team consisted of members from departments such, as Traffic Administration and Patrol well as Comprehensive Police Stations Management. They successfully located the vehicle. Identified its driver.

As a result authorities seized the vehicle while legal procedures are now being carried out to prepare for transferring the driver to face prosecution.
Colonel Al Bahar highlighted the dedication of the Ras Al Khaimah Police to uphold law and order. He made it clear that individuals who break regulations or show disrespect towards the police officers for protecting the communitys security and well being will face punishments.

Underlining the importance of taking action Colonel Al Bahar emphasized that Ras Al Khaimah Police will not tolerate any challenges, to their authority violations of state laws or actions that put others safety at risk.
