Knights in Scrubs: UAE’s Heroic Mission Heals Gaza with Humanity

In a display of unmatched compassion and logistical brilliance, the UAE has taken global humanitarian efforts to new heights through “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” proving that modern-day knights don’t wear armor—they wear scrubs. This powerful initiative has positioned the UAE as a global force for good, delivering urgent and sustained humanitarian aid to Gaza, a region deeply impacted by conflict and suffering.

The centerpiece of this mission is the Emirati field hospital in Gaza, equipped with 200 beds, state-of-the-art operating theatres, ICUs, emergency departments, and staffed by an international team of medical superheroes. Since opening, the hospital has treated over 51,000 critical cases, specializing in complex surgeries and trauma care. But the UAE’s commitment doesn’t stop at emergency response—it reaches into long-term healing and rehabilitation, including a prosthetics program for amputees, giving many a second chance at mobility and dignity.

Adding to this massive medical effort, the UAE has delivered over 750 tonnes of medical supplies, including essential equipment and power generators to keep Gaza’s hospitals running. A standout initiative includes a massive polio vaccination campaign, reaching more than 640,000 children, a crucial step in protecting an entire generation from preventable disease.

The UAE’s dedication extends beyond borders. It has evacuated over 2,000 patients and children, offering them life-saving treatment within the UAE. Meanwhile, a floating field hospital docked in Egypt’s Al Arish, with 100 beds and multi-specialty care, has treated over 10,000 cases from Rafah, proving that when it comes to saving lives, the UAE leaves no option unexplored.

Through these integrated efforts, the UAE sends a powerful message: healthcare is a human right, and solidarity knows no boundaries. “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” isn’t just a mission—it’s a movement of mercy, showing the world that true power lies in healing, hope, and humanity.
