The comprehensive initiative extends free Wi-Fi coverage to several public spaces, including buses, beaches, and public parks. Notably, 19 public parks in Abu Dhabi, 11 in Al Ain, and 14 in the Al Dhafra Region are now equipped with this service. Additionally, the initiative will soon include popular recreational spots like Abu Dhabi Corniche beach and Al Bateen beach.
His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of DMT, expressed pride in offering this service, emphasizing its role in ensuring widespread connectivity across all locations. Al Shorafa highlighted Abu Dhabi’s notable global ranking, standing at 13 out of 141 cities in the IMD Smart City Index 2023.
