In celebration of its 52nd Union Day the UAE made an impact at COP28 by incorporating an imaginative approach to welcome global leaders. Combining technology with tradition the UAE showcased a mesmerizing 3D hologram of its Founding Father the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan during the World Climate Action Summit.
The holographic tribute followed a speech, by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, son of Sheikh Zayed and current President of the UAE. In his address Sheikh Mohammed paid homage to his father while portraying him as a trailblazer to preserving nature. He emphasized Sheikh Zayeds approach towards his people. Recognized that true wealth lies within a nations citizens.
Describing Sheikh Zayed as a leader who shaped both the past and future of their nation Sheikh Mohammed underscored how his fathers leadership paved the way, for a brighter tomorrow.
This creative application of technology not commemorated the UAEs Union Day. Also acted as a meaningful reminder of the ongoing worldwide endeavors required to tackle environmental issues and establish a sustainable future.
