Sourcing and verification
We build stories from primary and official sources first: UAE government and authority announcements, official statements, regulatory documents, supported where relevant by reputable international reporting. A claim is not published until it can be traced to a credible source. On fast-moving stories, we publish what is confirmed, attribute clearly, and update as more becomes known rather than waiting or speculating.
Accuracy and fact-checking
Every article is checked by a second editor for factual correctness, clarity, and fairness before it goes live. Figures, dates, names, and official requirements are confirmed against their source. Where a story carries real consequences for readers, visas, business setup, salaries, money, and markets, we cite the issuing authority and show when the information was last checked, because these rules change.
Corrections and updates
When we get something wrong, we correct it openly. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly, and significant changes are noted with a date; we do not quietly delete or rewrite history. News stories are also updated as events develop, and the update is dated so readers can see how current the information is.
What we cover
Our coverage spans the full range of news and lifestyle topics that matter to readers in Dubai and across the UAE:
- Latest News – breaking UAE and Dubai news as it happens
- Government – official announcements, policy, and leadership news
- Business World – markets, companies, and the regional economy
- Banking – banking, lending, and personal finance in the UAE
- Forex Market – currency markets and foreign-exchange updates
- AI News – artificial intelligence and the UAE’s growing tech sector
- Education News – schools, universities, and education policy
- Cultural News – Emirati heritage, arts, and community
- Entertainment – film, music, shows, and what’s on
- Lifestyle – dining, events, travel, and living in Dubai
- Sports News – regional and international sport
- Random Reads – features, explainers, and practical guides
Some of these areas carry real-world consequences for readers, banking, forex, business, and government, or visa-related guides, among them. We hold that content to a higher standard: every requirement or figure is traced to the issuing authority or official source, and the guidance is dated, because rules and markets change.
Sourcing and verification
We build stories from primary and official sources first: UAE government and authority announcements, the Emirates News Agency (WAM), official statements, regulatory documents, and named spokespeople, supported where relevant by reputable international reporting. A claim is not published until it can be traced to a credible source. On fast-moving stories, we publish what is confirmed, attribute clearly, and update as more becomes known rather than waiting or speculating.
Use of AI
Where we use AI tools to assist production, for example, research, drafting support, or transcription, the output is reviewed and verified by a human editor before publication. Editorial responsibility for every published article rests with our team, not with any automated tool.
Authorship and accountability
Articles are currently published under the Pulse of Dubai Editorial Team, and the editorial team is accountable for all content. As we introduce named writers, each will have a profile and byline. Until then, responsibility sits with the desk, reachable below.
Feedback and contact
If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, unclear, or out of date, tell us. Email info@pulseofdubai.ae or use our contact page. We read every message and act on confirmed issues promptly.
