The Pulse of Dubai Editorial Team is dedicated to providing accurate, transparent, and trustworthy news and lifestyle coverage that enables readers across Dubai and the UAE to stay informed and make informed decisions.
Pulse of Dubai is an independent UAE news and lifestyle publication covering the stories that shape life in Dubai and across the Emirates, breaking news, business and banking, AI and technology, culture, sport, and practical guides for residents and visitors. Our experienced editorial team is responsible for everything published on the site, including what we cover, how we verify it, and how quickly we correct any errors when they occur.
Pulse of Dubai helps readers make well-informed decisions by maintaining a transparent editorial policy and holding every story to the standards of our editorial desk, with named editors and contributors introduced via our About Us page as our team grows.
How we report and publish
Every article follows the same path before it goes live:
- Sourcing. We track official UAE channels, government and authority announcements, the Emirates News Agency (WAM), official statements, and primary documents, alongside reputable international reporting.
- Verification. Before we publish a claim, we trace it back to a primary or official source. For developing stories, we attribute clearly and update as facts are confirmed.
- Editing. A second pair of eyes on the desk checks each piece for accuracy, clarity, and fairness before it is published.
- Updating. News changes. We revise stories as new information emerges and mark significant updates with a date.
Our editorial standards
- Accuracy first. We’d rather be right than first. Unverified claims are labelled as such or held back.
- Clear sourcing. Where a fact comes from an official source, we say so and link to it.
- Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly and note the update, we don’t quietly delete.
- Independence. Our coverage is editorially independent. Sponsored or partner content is labelled and kept separate from news. Advertising never decides what we report.
